Those words are words to live by. Here is a man who was a basketball coach. He was very successful in wining 88 consecutive games, but being a winner wasn't the most significant thing in his life. This statement shows that if you do good things, good things will happen to you if you do them for the right reason.

Alex Schwazer was a Gold Medal Race walker. But later on he was banned from doing drugs. Surprisingly he was happy to have been caught using these illegal substances. Alex said "I'm no made to take drugs or to deceive people, and I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't wait for the whole thing to end." this shows that i knew his victory was for nothing if he took those drugs. So it's better to have told the truth than live a lie
