I missed my media class so much i have tears of joy now that i'm back. i didn't go to many places. All I did was working out early with a friend of mine. We also got a few friends to play together. We played a game of bascketball.
It was a lot of fun and reallty did enjoy it. For christmas i went to spend with someone who is really close to my family. It was so much fun. I'm the youngest one in my family and my sisters are grown up. They wanted to spend New Years on their own so i decided i was gonna stay alone with my dog on New Years. It was lots of fun spending the night with my dog and celebrating while people nextdoor were having a blast.

Effetive study notes part 1
Effective Study Methods
Part 1
My test study method: When
it comes time to study for the test, I usually start 2-3 days before the test. Before
I go through my notes and make flashcards on what was important for those
sections,,paying special attention on what the teacher said it would be on the
test if there was a review session. Also I go through the book and read the
inset stories and add to my flashcards. If there are practice problems or
online assignments or old tests, I use those to help me study for the test as
well. Once the test is over, I keep my flashcards so that I have them for my
test or finale. Flashcards are a marvelous tool the key to remember something
is to repeat it numerous times- spaced rehearsals, if you forget something it
is because you have not repeated it numerous times. Repetition is a law of
learning; therefor, to learn and remember , to recall, it is mandatory that you
repeat something over and over until the thing you desired to learn has been
learned. You may e thinking “Oh, no, repeating something.” You need to get use
to it. For example, th e more you practice a song on the piano, the better you
become playing that song. Learning and remembering can help you. Look now at
what you remember. You remembered because you have repeated it numerous times. So
practice rehearsing those things you desire to remember, and they will stick
with you.
Practice-Proficiency-Pleasure
The better you remember,
the more pleasure you obtain from studying and learning.

Student Success Statement
“You will never regret doing what’s right.”
Anon
I agree. Doing what’s right gives great satisfaction. Even
if it means that’s choosing the right won’t benefit you in anyway, choosing the
right is always the right thing to do, and great things come from that.

Laura B.’s Academic Success story
In high school I was one of the good students who really
didn’t have to study to be a good student. The information that I took for
notes usually sunk in enough for me to be able to get by on the tests by simply
reviewing the material just before the class has begun. It wasn’t that I didn’t
try. I had a 4.0 all throughout high school,
but I never really to put forth much of an effort to get the results that I wanted
to see. In college however, that changed. Not only did I start studying and
reading the book, but I began to understand that the little tiny facts were
just as important as the general concepts. My overall study method: I do the
reading that is required for the classes, and I try to keep up. If I do fall behind, I usually use the reading
that I did not get to as an additional study aid. I take good notes in class
and actually attend every class that I can. Sometimes with Volleyball, it’s
tough because we are on the road a lot, but I do miss class because of
volleyball I make sure that I get the notes from another student in the class. Also,
for a subject such as chemistry, I do practice problems to help me understand
what the material means.

This is indeed very true. Always choose the
right even if it doesn’t befit you.

Academic Success

My great academic success: In my
principles of marketing class, we had come up with a new product and sell it.
My group ended up with a couple supposedly bad students according to our
teacher since they were the last ones picked. In the end, they helped out more
than needed since I was team leader I assigned them certain pieces of the
project that became solely their responsibility. Delegating work always helps
since it allows a group member individual work without separating the group.
English ,math, foreign language tips:
Math basically just takes practice. I always tell students to take a blank
piece of paper and write everything you know about what you’ve learned or what
you’re studying for in the class. If you don’t remember everything or star
drawing blanks, then you need to study more and review your notes. Note cards
work really well for foreign language.
Here are my final words of wisdom for students who want to get better grades in
college: Go to class just in case you’re absent, and remember that you should
want to learn.

“There is no pillow so soft as a clear conscience”
-French Proverb
Reflection
I believe French Proverb is
saying that the only way one can be at ease is by having a clear conscience. I agree
with him. When one has a bad conscience, they always have it in the back of their
mind even if they try to ignore it. They can’t be at peace.
