Time Management 8 of 10

Time Management
8 of 10
Master the moments and you may be real pro when it comes to juggling demands on your time – classes, homework, and activities – with some family help. College gives you an even bigger chance to sharpen your time management skills by doing it all on your own. And that’s a good thing since most jobs require multitasking. You might need to take care of current clients while attracting  new ones, respond to e-mails while working on a major presentation, or order tomorrow’s produce while planning next week’s menu.
Someone said “Wherever you are, be there” Focus on the present moment and give it all your attention. Don’t let your mind drift and wander here and there when you need to be thinking and concentrating on the moment at hand. You can’t go back and recapture this moment, so make the most of it while it NOW. Master the present and you will master the future. Work smart by mastering the present moment

Take Control of Homework

Take Control of Homework
So it doesn’t Control You
Part 3
Take advantage of any free time
If you have a study period or a long bus ride, use the time to review notes, prepare for an upcoming class or start your homework. Flash cards are a great learning tool. They make it easy to handle, and are marvelous tool to help you learn and remember anything. Put the hole in the upper left corner of each   index card and connect the stack of your flash cards with a ring. Then the cards are bound and not flopping around. Flash cards bound like this act like a small book with pages. You can even have separate ringed stacks for each subject. WHATEVER YOU WANT TO REMEMBER, PUT IT ON A CARD.
Study with a friend
Get together with friends and classmates to quiz each other, compare notes and predict test questions. Consider joining a study group.
Communicate
If you have concerns about the amount or type of homework you have, you may want to talk to your family, teachers or counselor. They can help you understand how much time you need to allot for homework and how to manage your tasks.
Celebrate Your  Achievements
Reward yourself for hitting milestones or doing something well!

Spring Break

Spring Break
During my spring break I didn't do much. I did my homework for both my English and my History class. It wasn't as much fun as i thought it would be but it kept me occupied. for the rest of my free time i helped my mother out with chores and stuff so she wouldn't have to do so many things. I later on had so much free time that i watched my favorite show called Smallville. I never have time to watch but i did over this break.
